Post-Apocalyptic Swimming Pools photos by John Bennett

Back when I was but a wee lad traversing the country in amazing flying aeroplanes, I was always fascinated by the amount of swimming pools nested in backyards that usually went unnoticed while on foot. When the zombie mayan apocalypse hits and future generations are forced to scavenge the decaying ruins of our once great civilization, how exactly will they interpret these shallow, tiled ditches we made in the ground? Will they think them open-air tombs for our fallen? Miniature gladiatorial arenas? Massive bird baths? Check out some more pictures of these abandoned hotel swimming pools at Johns’ website: jbennettfitts
